Insurance

New York Osteopathic Medicine does not accept insurance. We are out-of-network.

However, if your policy covers your treatment, you might be partially or totally reimbursed by your insurance company directly if you submit the invoice yourself. That’s up to your insurance company based on your policy.

After each treatment or consultation, you will receive a statement for that visit, which you can then submit to your insurance company if appropriate.

This does not apply to Medicare.  If you are on any form of Medicare, your doctor cannot give you any bill, according to Medicare rules. And you cannot submit anything for payment.

Since every insurance company has different rules, many of which change every year, we strongly suggest that you contact your insurance company (including Medicare) to determine what is and isn’t covered as well as the submission process if they accept your claim.
